On the eve of the Italian Cup final, Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez gave an interview to Radio Serie A, sharing his thoughts on the team’s preparation and his personal ambitions.
Speaking about head coach Chivu’s impact, Lautaro said: “The coach has given us tremendous support in terms of mental energy, confidence, and leadership. He has a strong personality and determination, but at the same time, he brings us joy and ensures we maintain a calm and composed approach in our work. This has been evident throughout the past year.”
When asked about the team’s state ahead of the final, Lautaro expressed great satisfaction: “We have trained very well, both physically and in terms of energy levels, and we have fully recovered. In these final hours before the match, we have prepared in an extremely appropriate manner. I’m very happy because I see a team eager to create new milestones. So, I am extremely pleased with the current form of the team. We are ready for tomorrow’s game.”
On the significance of winning the Italian Cup for himself and the club, Lautaro stated: “Since I arrived here, we have won many trophies. For me, this is a great honor and a source of immense pride. I train hard every day and give my all, with the sole ultimate goal of winning more titles for Inter Milan.”
