CSKA Moscow head coach Andreas Pistiolis shared his expectations ahead of the start of the VTB United League playoff semifinal series against Lokomotiv-Kuban.
“We are facing a strong opponent in a traditional playoff series. I expect this series to be different from the regular season games. We are counting on the support of our fans, which will help us secure the victory,” Pistiolis said, as quoted on the official CSKA website.
The teams have already met six times this season, including the in-season Cup competition. The first game of the best-of-seven series will take place on May 12 in Moscow. CSKA are the reigning VTB United League champions.
